Great campground and nice place for swimming.
The campground host, old one eyed Ray, was a bit much. He let these lil bastard kids run around laughing to 1/2 in the morning but yelled at us cause we stayed up til 3 around the fire pit chatting. Then the following day, he came down told us we "were making too much damn noise". We stood there, jaw dropped in disbelief at this old fart. One person asked if we could even talk, he was gracious enough to give us permission to do that. Funny thing is, the camp site in between ours and ol Ray's walked over and apologized. They heard Ray yell at us and everything he accused us of they took credit for cause it was there music and hollering he heard. We still had a good time, despite Ray's ol fart self. Lake was cool, campsite was nice. Some amenities of home- hot showers and real toilets, that's about it. Ike out!!!
This campground was perfect for our family. Quiet, peaceful, and private, while still the comfort and convenience of flush toilets and hot showers. Highly recommend for families.
Beautiful scenery back in the woods. Very peaceful and serene. I had a lovely time walking my dog. Nice place to visit
